About the Book

Grief follows no rules or timeline. So what keeps us pretending it does?.

In Grieving Differently, Timoth Sylvia invites readers to question traditional grief frameworks and make room for a more honest, expansive way of living with loss. Through a queer lens, this compassionate and deeply reflective book challenges the idea that grief must be orderly, predictable, or completed according to someone else’s timeline.

Written for grieving people, those who love them, and anyone who has ever felt out of place within conventional grief narratives, Grieving Differently offers permission to be messy, authentic, and fully human. It is not a roadmap for “getting over” loss. It is a thoughtful companion for learning to carry it with greater tenderness, courage, and truth.

Each copy is personally signed by Timoth, making it a meaningful addition to your own collection or a heartfelt gift for someone navigating grief.
