Payment will be collected when your pre-order is placed. Signed pre-orders will ship no later than October 6, 2026. You will receive a separate email with tracking information when your book leaves for delivery.

If the fulfillment date changes, you will be notified and given the choice of accepting the revised date or canceling your order for a full refund.

Three Books. Three Invitations. One Meaningful Conversation.

This bundle includes three personally signed copies of Grieving Differently: Queering the Stages of Grief, a collection of pre-order gifts as well as admission for all three readers to a live online book discussion hosted by Timoth.

Together, we’ll talk about the stories and ideas within Grieving Differently, what it means to “queer” traditional understandings of the stages of grief, and how we can make room for grief that is honest, beautifully messy, and fully human.

This will be a welcoming conversation for grieving people, those who love them, and anyone who has ever felt constrained by conventional grief narratives.

You do not have to finish the book before participating. (You will not be required to share personal details about your own grief.)

Online Discussion Details

• Approximately 75 minutes

• Held live online following the book’s release

• At least two date options will be offered

• Each of the three readers may attend one discussion

• Readers may attend together or choose different available dates

• Registration instructions will be emailed to the purchaser

• Sessions will not be recorded in order to protect the privacy of participants

About the Book

Grief follows no rules or timeline. So why do we keep pretending it does?

In Grieving Differently, Timoth Sylvia invites readers to question traditional grief frameworks and make room for a more honest, expansive way of living with loss. Through a queer lens, this compassionate and deeply reflective book challenges the idea that grief must be orderly, predictable, or completed according to someone else’s timeline.

It is not a roadmap for “getting over” loss. It is a thoughtful companion for learning to carry grief with greater tenderness, courage, and truth.

The online gathering is an author-led book discussion. It is not group therapy, psychotherapy, clinical grief counseling, or emergency support.
