You know someone who's grieving right now. You've said the words you felt you needed to say. Perhaps you sent a card or dropped off a casserole. And now there's a silence you don't quite know how to fill.

Send them this.

I'll sign the book to them by name, write a line inside for you, and mail it to their door. You tell me who/what they are grieving and anything you want me to know, and I'll personalize a message to them. Not a form message… an actual inscription, in my handwriting, for them, from you.

If it would be better to hand it over yourself, I can also send it to you instead. Just say so at checkout.

What you'll tell me:

  • To whom it is being sent - and where
  • Your name, the way they'd know it
  • Who/What they are grieving, if you want to say
  • And anything else that would help me write something true

When it should arrive: I can send it upon release, or a date you choose that follows. A first anniversary. A birthday. The first Christmas without them. If you want it to land near what very well may be a hard day for them, tell me the day and I will do my best to have it to them then

About The Book

Grief follows no rules or timeline. So what keeps us pretending it does?.

In Grieving Differently, Timoth Sylvia invites readers to question traditional grief frameworks and make room for a more honest, expansive way of living with loss. Through a queer lens, this compassionate and deeply reflective book challenges the idea that grief must be orderly, predictable, or completed according to someone else’s timeline.

Written for grieving people, those who love them, and anyone who has ever felt out of place within conventional grief narratives, Grieving Differently offers permission to be messy, authentic, and fully human. It is not a roadmap for “getting over” loss. It is a thoughtful companion for learning to carry it with greater tenderness, courage, and truth.

Each copy is personally signed by Timoth, making it a meaningful addition to your own collection or a heartfelt gift for someone navigating grief.
